Who We Are

Our little family lives in the beautiful Pembina Valley in southern Manitoba. We enjoy the quietness that country living has to offer. Our 20 acres is a combination of hills, bush, pasture and a lovely ravine that runs through the property. This incredible paradise offers itself as a most delightful playground with endless adventure for ourselves and all our loyal furry friends! They say it takes a village to raise a child. As a single, homeschooling mom of 2 young boys I rely on that village for encouragement, support and assistance with education. Only some will understand when I say that our canine family is a huge part of that village.
"Our dogs are not our whole life but they make our lives whole"
Roger Caras

Our Mission

Some things are hard to put into words. One of those things is that special connection you have when you have found "the one"..  Or when "the one" finds you.  As a friend recently said to me, "They pick their owners". My first connection with a dog was with one named Sherriff. He showed me loyalty like I had never experienced. Not from a family member or friend! He made me feel so safe. He would boldly step between me and anyone he did not trust.  Unfortunately canines have a much shorter lifespan than humans and he has passed on.  I have been fortunate to meet some more amazing canine beings that have quickly become a part of our family.  They bring calmness, and companionship, joy and  laughter to our home. It has been a most incredible experience to meet so many wonderful people through these animals and help them find "the one" that's right for them and their family!  And that is our mission! To breed, not just dogs but companions, friends, and help you connect with the one that is just right for you!
